I started in the mental health field in 2015, and have been practicing as a licensed therapist since 2019. As I’ve moved around, I’ve worked in community mental health and substance abuse treatment programs in NYC and DC, and since 2021 I’ve gotten to know our lovely Colorado mental health community too!
As a therapist, I use a relational approach, meaning: I’m a person, you’re a person, this is a human relationship, let’s talk! I’m interested in us both understanding all the parts and layers of you more deeply. I draw on skills and theory from DBT, CBT, somatic therapies, IFS, Feminist/Queer theory, and Neurodiversity. I work with individuals, adults, and I tend to go over biggest with people ages 18-25, Autistics and ADHDers (especially those who are talkers, who feel deeply, or who may have been told they’re ‘too much’), and people who are looking for support with self exploration around identities, life changes, anxiety, depression, trauma, and neurodivergence. Whatever it is that you’re holding, I’m here to hold it with you.
I’m a queer, neurodivergent (AuDHD), cis, white, working class woman. I understand that we all exist on spectrums of experience, we are all impacted by systems of oppression that are interconnected, and we all have inherent power that shows up in unique and fascinating ways. When I’m not therapizing, I’m usually laughing at some comedian or myself, cooking with a re-watch show on in the background, taking a walk, hanging with my cats, re-listening to my latest dopamine song, or yapping about liberation.
Let’s get connected, let’s get curious together about you, and let’s see what we can learn!
