I am a white, able-bodied, neurodivergent (ADHD), millennial from the PNW who also identifies as non-binary, pansexual, polyamorous, and fat. I am currently pre-licensed (LPCC), working towards full licensure (LPC). I graduated in 2024 with my MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in Somatic Counseling and Dance/Movement Therapy at Naropa University.
My school’s program oriented me towards a humanistic, authentic, social justice based, and trauma-informed approach to somatic work and mental health treatment. I am very passionate about working with adults on their relationship to their body, movement, and food (hooray body liberation!), gender transitions and questions, sexuality journeys, and religious & spiritual trauma and all the feels that come with. I have personal and professional experience working in eating disorder (ED) recovery that is based in fat & body liberation rhetoric. I mainly want to help people curate a relationship with their body that works best for them. I am always striving to make space for exploring the confusing, frustrating, hard, and joyful things in life.
Some things that are important to me are my sweet kitty Oliver, water of any kind, dance, music, art, all things queer, more equitable mental health spaces, being a continuous learner, and social justice activism in all its intersectional aspects. Dying my hair is also one of the things I enjoy doing so it will likely not stay the same as my picture for very long!
